I honestly don't know why I love the front of this car, it's got more blades than Gillette makes in a year, but for some reason that only seems to intensify my lust.

Wow that's a really cool color for a Phaeton.

Actually, the KBB value on that car, CPO, with that mileage, as optioned, is about $114K.

I love the A8L, the W12 is sweet but scares the carp out of me for service.

It scares the carp out of me, too.

give me a pre-open mouth D3 (2004) A8L or a 2003 D2 S8 and I'll be very happy

I don't often see those anymore. They're becoming quite scarce.

Ah I guess the days of the rapidly depreciating audi luxobarge are gone. Ill wait for the red one :)

I think it's too bad that it's an L. Otherwise, nice colour!

best looking D3. Audi messed up when they connected the grille. Pulled an Acura to a lesser degree.

Sadly these things have followed the same path at the 2002-2010 7-Series. They are now usually on their 7th or 8th owner who buy them for about $10,000 (and some ungodly interest rate), and completely neglected.
This past summer I worked at Carmax and these, 7's, and MB R-Classes came in all the time for appraisal. The values were beyond depressing.

I won't buy a used German unless it's a 1 owner. Exception if it's exceedingly rare and I won't find another or it's older than 2000.
